Vibration testing at IES is performed with a 16,000 lb force electro-dynamic vibration system, complete with data acquisition system. This system can produce sine, random and sine-on-random excitation between 3 and 2,000 hertz. The displacement capability exceeds 3.5 inches. Shock testing to approximately 1200 G’s (spectrum max.) or 500 G’s peak on half-sine pulse is also available.

Ten control/analysis inputs are available with up to 16 channels of data recording. If necessary, our engineers are proficient at designing and fabricating vibration fixtures to interface with your hardware. Additionally, we can combine low temperature testing (to -450 °F) with the dynamic environment to simulate actual conditions.
